6 Days Siem Reap Angkor Motorbike Tour

Day 1 : ARRIVE & ACCLIMATISE ( D )

On arrival at Siem Reap International airport, you will be greeted by your driver for your transfer directly to your Hotel. Check in to your hotel, and we’ll take you out for the obligatory beer and welcome dinner.

Day 2 : SIEM REAP TO PHNOM KULEN (100KM) ( B , L , D )

Bike hand over, followed by the Khmer traditional Buddhist Journey Blessing at a nearby temple in Siem Reap then leave the provincial capital and head out for a great ride to the most sacred of mountains in all Cambodia – Phnom Kulen., Renowned by Khmers as the birthplace of their race. , It is on this very mountain that King Jayavarman II, proclaimed his divine right to rule independent of Java, creating the mighty Angkor Empire that ruled SE Asia from 802 for the next 600 years.,Small trails and single tracks. Sand, mud, rock.

Day 3 : PHNOM KULEN TO KOH KER ( B , L , D )

From Phnom Kulen, we hit the sandy trails, heading north for the huge (and only in SE Asia) Pyramid Temple of Koh Ker. , An Angkor era temple, it is far less travelled than the temples of Siem Reap, though equally spectacular, buried deep in the rainforest.,A night in the best guesthouse in town (hopefully some hot water)

Day 4 : KOH KER TO PREAH KHAN (150KM) ( B , L , D )

A great ride, travelling south again, back towards the City of Angkor, along a 1000-year-old ancient highway. , You will rest for the night near a 1000-year-old temple (another seat for the Angkor Era god-king – Jayavarman.). Let’s meet the jungle team and neck down some jungle juice. Weak stomachs need not apply!, Small trails and single tracks., One of the largest and less travelled temples in Cambodia.

Day 5 : PREAH KHAN TO ANGKOR (160KM) ( B , L , D )

Break camp and head south again on Cambodia’s own Route 66, back to the luxury of Siem Reap. , A quick drink by the pool, and head out for the celebratory farewell dinner.

Day 6: DEPARTURE ( B )

Time to head home or onward on your journey, with your head filled with tales of derring-do, and a body full of aching muscles.
