Day 1: Mandalay Arrival & Sightseeing ( D )

Upon arrival at the airport, after luggage collection, you will be welcome by local tour guide. Depending on the arrival time, these visits can be included;

Day 2: Mandalay- 40KM-Pyin Oo Lwin-36KM-Nawnghkio ( B , L )

After breakfast, start the 40KM cycling tour to Pyin Oo Lwin approximately 4 hours. In Pyin Oo Lwin or Maymyo as it was called formerly by the name of the founder of the British Hill Station. Start the sightseeing by mountain bike for warming up: Botanical Garden, one of the chains of the Kew Garden in London, which can offer the visitors the ambience of British Colonial Era, BE falls to relax, and then ride up to the Image of Maha Aunt Htoo Kanthar Buddha on the hill where you can see the surrounding area as a partially panoramic view. You should not miss to take a Tour of Stage Coach to explore the town still filled with the Colonial Houses.
Continue the 36KM cycling tour from Pyin Oo Lwin to Nawnghkio in the afternoon.
Nawnghkio, variously spelt Naunghkio, Naungcho or Nawngcho, is a town in Kyaukme District, in northern Shan State, Burma. It is the principal town and administrative seat of Nawnghkio Township. It is connected to Mandalay, Pyin U Lwin, Kyaukme, Hsipaw and Lashio by road and rail and by road to Taunggyi via National Road 43. Asia World Company won the contract to rebuild part of the road in 2002. Originally on the Mandalay-Lashio Road, after Pyin U Lwin and before Kyaukme, Nawnghkio is on what is now the Mandalay-Muse Road, part of the Asian Highway Route 14 (AH14).

Day 3: Nawnghkio -32KM-Kyaukme-22KM-Hsipaw-46KM-Lashio ( B , L )

Today we will ride bike along the Historic Burma Road coming from the border of China.
After breakfast, ride 32KM from Nawnghkio to Kyaukme.
Ride 22KM from Kyaukme to Hsipaw for lunch .
Hsibaw came to be the place where once “The Sawbwas” the Shan Chiefs had their Haw or palace here. It also became to be a popular location where many tourists would come and enjoy the simplicity of this area. The old Shan Palace which is a huge house, an architectural design reminiscent of the British country home is still here in Hsibaw. Places of interest are Shan Palace and the shan style Bawgyo Paya on the Mandalay-Lashio road. You can go by car from Mandalay, it takes hours seeing countryside.

Upon arrival check in at the hotel and after a short rest, take a stroll in Lashio Night Market enjoying the night life.
Lashio township of mostly Shan-Chinese and Chinese inhabitants are located at the northern end of the last station of the train journey from Mandalay. Lashio is in a mountain basin at 855m- clouds may form and deliver rain at almost any time of the year. It is divided into two main districts, Lashio Lay (little Lashio) and Lashio Gyi (big Lashio), connected by Mandalay-Muse road. Lashio Lay is the newer and bigger of the two districts. The Sightseeing places are the Chinese temple, the market and the hot water spring.

Day 4: Lashio –46KM-Kutkai- 61KM-Muse ( B , L )

Continue the cycling along the Burma Road to Muse, a border town with Yunnan of China.
Lunch at a local restaurant or picnic lunch in Kutkai. And then continue the rest 61kilometers until the peaceful town called Muse.
Muse, a small town on the banks of the Shweli River, is the main border gateway between Myanmar and Yunnan Province (China). Located 107km from Lashio, it is a bustling trading centre. Muse motel has modern facilities. Namkham and Kyukoke are nearby border towns. You can go there by car from Mandalay, it takes hours.
