8 Days Best of Laos Motorbike Tour from Vientiane

Laos Exciting Loop Motorbike Tour .We will ride is the easiest ride to get you acquainted with riding in Laos. visit lakeside at Nam Ngum and you can take a walk through a local market with many excellent viewpoints along the way. We will ride along the Mekong and a short boat ride takes us to the holy Pak Ou Cave . Some a little off road and go deeper to an area where were the most impacted area in Laos by Indochina War .we ride along isolated mountain areas and today’s destination is the Plain of Jars. This area is still heavily mined and remnants of the Indochina war can still be seen even though it ended long time ago..

Day 01 Vientiane – Vang Vieng (155km)
8:00 AM depart from Vientaine after breakfast. Today’s ride is the easiest ride to get you acquainted with riding in Laos. Lunch will be lakeside at Nam Ngum and you can take a walk through a local market. The first day ride will end up in Vang Vieng, a scenic area with scenic limestone landscape and caves.

Day 02 Vang Vieng – Luang Prabang (227km)
A hilly ride awaits today! Today we twist and turn up the sides of hills with many excellent viewpoints along the way. A lunch stop in Phou Khoun at a local restaurant and then more pure motorcycle turns on the highway. We arrive in Luang Prabang before sunset and a cold drink along the Mekong completes today.

Day 03 Pak Ou Cave – Kuang Si Water Fall (142km)
We ride along the Mekong and a short boat ride takes us to the holy Pak Ou Cave. Lunch break nearby the cave before we continue to Kuang Si Waterfall. Crystal clear pool invites us to swim. We have plenty of time to take a walk and make sure that we visit Phet, the orphaned tiger, and a young bears living just by the entrance gate.

Day 04 Luang Prabang – Vieng Thong (235km)
Time for a little off road and go deeper to an area where were the most impacted area in Laos by Indochina War. We leave Luang Prabang and start in on a compacted dirt road that winds along a river. It gets steep and the views are fantastic. A simple lunch along the way keeps us going and dinner in Vieng Thong awaits.

Day 05 Vieng Thong – Vieng Xay – Sam Nuea (205km)
It will be an exciting ride today! We head Sam Nuea for lunch and drop off our luggage at a guesthouse. We then go toward Vietnam border to Viengxay caves for a scenic ride. The caves are known as Hidden City, bomb shelters during Indochina War. The caves have recently been open to public. We are among very first visitors to The Caves City. We return to Sam Neua for overnight

Day 06 Sam Nuea– Phonsavan (239km)
After breakfast, we ride along isolated mountain areas and today’s destination is the Plain of Jars. This area is still heavily mined and remnants of the Indochina war can still be seen even though it ended long time ago. We explore Site 1 of Plain of Jars and back to Phonsavan before dark. If there is time, we can visit Information Center of MAG Laos, The Mine Advisory Group Laos that operates UXO clearance in Xieng Khuang Province.

Day 07 Phonsavan – Paksan (230km)
An early departure will be needed. The tough ride is taking you through remote areas and forest we villager still live with very minor impact by modernization. It’s hard to find a place to eat. A simple lunch with sticky rice and laap will keep your fuel right. It’s a rugged ride and the night in Paksan Hotel will refresh you along with dinner along the river.

Day 08 Paksan – Phou Khao Khuay National Park – Vientiane (183km)
Today we follow the road No 13. The ride is flat and comfortable on a well-paved road. We have a little off road to the Tad Xang Waterfall (Elephant Waterfall), a local tourist attraction amidst mixed deciduous forest. It is an idyllic place for bathing and relaxation before we return to the road No 13 for the journey back to Vientiane . Farewell dinner with team and group . End The Tour .
