The Red River is the second largest river in Vietnam and one of the five largest rivers on the East Asia coast. Its catchment covers parts of China and Vietnam and its water and sediment discharge greatly influence the Gulf of Tonkin in these countries. With rich natural resources and favorable natural conditions, RRE has become an area of active economic development and high population density. TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau
7:30 AM pick up at your hotel, check out and drive to Mai Chau through Hoa Binh province. Start pedaling from Luong Son to V- resort and Bai Chao village and continue cycling to Thong Khe Pass. Have lunch on the way then ride on a single track through Thai minority villages. Ride past terraced fields and beautiful valleys. Overnight in a stilt house in a Thai-tribe village.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong national park ( Ninh Binh)
Breakfast before Uphill to the Thong Ke pass and pedal through the rich farming land of the Red River Delta to Cuc Phuong National Park. On our journey, there are some opportunities to see ethnic minority people, all friendly and welcoming. Overnight in Cuc Phuong Guesthouse.

Day 3: Cuc Phuong park – Dinh Le Temple – Ninh Binh
Following breakfast, at 8:00 Am start cycling from the gate of Cuc Phuong Park to recharge your energy for 19km cycling to the center of the park. make a couple of stops along the way to visit the Cave of Ancient Man. We continue cycling to Dinh Le temple and stop for lunch before we reach Hoa Lu. We then start cycling to visit the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. (12km), just passing scenes of local village life and rice paddies. We continue with a 1-hour cycle to Tam Coc. O / N in Tam Coc Villiage.

Day 4: Tam Coc Cave – Keo pagoda – Thai Binh
After breakfast and 7:30 we embark on a boat trip in Tam Coc passing through the picturesque landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations with magnificent caves for 2 hours. Transfer by van to Tan De Bridge and turn right and start cycling along the banks of the East Delta of the Red River to the most beautiful Keo pagoda complex from the 11th century. After visiting we continue cycling to Thai Binh City and another dyke of the Tra Ly river for cycling 15 km off-road to Thai Hong Village ( Viet people ) for homestay. Dinner with Viet family.

Day 5: Thai Binh – Hai Phong – Halong Bay
Breakfast and pedal through the rich farming land of the Red River Delta to Vinh Bao village, stop to visit Diem Dien fishing market and cycle through the local villages to Hai Phong and then transfer by van about 90 km to Ha long bay city for check-in hotel near-by the beach. Evening free for shopping at the night market and swimming, explore dinner on your own.

Day 6: Ha Long bay cruise tour – Hanoi
Breakfast at the hotel. Ha, Long Bay is one of Vietnam‘s most impressive scenic sights. After a short transfer from the hotel, we embark on a cruise out to explore the world’s natural heritage dotted with thousands of rock formations. Along the way, we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove, visit Thien Cung and Dau Go cave, and fish villages, and have a seafood lunch on the boat. Transfer back to Hanoi to Pha Lai town and cycle again along the dykes of Duong river to visit, Dong Ho painting village and But Thap pagoda and transfer by van to Hanoi, check-in your hotel ( your account ). End The Tour.
