A day in a life of a tuk tuk driver – this is a unique experience for everyone who wants to explore the pristine northern Thai countryside a bit differently.
We pick you up in Chiang Mai at 8 AM with a tuk tuk. We drive to Mae Wang countryside where your tuk tuk driver gives you a lesson on driving a tuk tuk. After the lesson, you have time to practice driving off the road and once you feel comfortable with your new tuk tuk driving skills, we go on a country road.
You drive in the countryside, past fruit farms, rice paddies and waterways. During the day, you visit a local market, Buddhist temple and traditional Karen tribe village.
In the early afternoon we have a lunch break at a local restaurant, then it’s back to the road, and we drive some more until it’s time to hand the wheel back to your tuk tuk driver and head to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.
