Creating Unique Touring Experiences
All the touring itineraries on this website have been carefully crafted by our in-country management teams and represent a series of experiences we can certainly recommend. However, we understand that every travel experience should be as unique and individual as each traveler. Our consultants are waiting to hear from you so that we can tailor or custom design a Myanmar tour to your individual specifications.

This proposed biking itinerary starts directly from your hotel and includes some major cultural sites of interest as Ava (Inwa), Amarapura, Sagaing and Mingun along the Irrawaddy River. The tour ends by a small river boat ride from Mingun at sunset on the Irrawaddy before to reach the opposite bank and the city of Mandalay.

The cycling tour starts from Mandalay to Tadar Oo Town with a first stop for refreshment (10 miles/16 Km).

After a short stop, you will leave from Tadar Oo and continue to Myit Nge Bridge (3 miles/5 Km), then pass Myint Nge Bridge and continue to U Bein teak bridge (10 miles / 16 Km) for a second stop.

You will visit 150-year-old U Bein teak bridge, built in 1851 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital.

After leaving U Bein teak bridge, you will continue to Oe Htoke Tan Jetty (5 miles/8 Km) and take the local ferry to Innwa (Ava), located on an island between the Ayeyarwady and the Myit Nge Rivers.

After lunch, the ride will continue to Sagaing Bridge (1.5 mile/2 Km), passing over the Bridge to Sagaing, which is perhaps the living centre of Buddhist faith in Myanmar today (2 miles / 3 Km).

Your ride will then bring you to Let Pan Village (10 miles/16 Km) for a stop and some refreshment. After refreshment, you will visit a nails workshop family.

You will continue to Mingun for a last stop (4 miles/6 Km) and will Pahtoedawgyi Pagoda, and Mingun Bell, the world’s largest intact bell.

After sightseeing, you will cross the Ayeyarwaddy River by local ferry to Mandalay and enjoy the sunset. The boat trip will give you the opportunity to discover the river life with different type of cargo or passenger boats but also bamboo rafts.
