How to Plan China-Laos Train Tour between Kunming and Vientiane

Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan Province, is one of the first national historical and cultural cities, the political, economic, cultural, scientific, and technological and transportation center of Yunnan Province, an important tourist and trade city in China, an important central city in the western region and a national first-grade port city. The beautiful natural scenery, splendid historical sites and diverse ethnic customs have made Kunming one of the popular cities for tourism in China. Vientiane is the capital of Laos, the political, economic, and cultural center and the largest city in the country, as well as the only municipality in Laos. Nestled closely on the left bank of the Mekong River, the city stretches from west to east and north, with a wide riverfront boulevard running through the city. On both sides of the street, coconuts, bananas, betel nut, longan, fenugreek and locust plants grow in an intermingling pattern. It is one of the few capitals in the world to be located near a national border, across the river from Nong Khai Province in Thailand.
